In a significant milestone event, the AI Team of the Tiballi Project successfully testing the first implementation of an Automatic Speech Recognition model for thirteen (13) words in Dagbani; 0 to 10, yes, no. The team (Gossa Lo, Andre Baart, Bram Kreuger, Wilhelm Kutah, Gideon Ali and Francis Saa-Dittoh) built a Telegram bot that ‘parrots back’ the user.

The bot was tested in the Tingoli and Nyankpala communities, which resulted in a near-perfect accuracy through the diverse population (young, old, male, female, etc).
